Natasha Armstrong, MHA, BSN, RN, widely known as The JoCo Nurse, has served the healthcare community for over 24 years, with 18 of those years dedicated to nursing. A proud alumna of North Carolina Central University, Natasha holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later earned a Master’s in Healthcare Management from Strayer University. Her diverse expertise spans women’s health, home healthcare, clinical research, nurse education, and global nursing leadership.
Natasha began her career in women’s health and expanded her skill set by working in home health management and clinical research. Most notably, she served as the Director of Global Nursing, where she led teams in delivering decentralized clinical trials through telemedicine across various regions, including the U.S., Europe, and beyond. Her leadership in implementing home nursing programs and global trials has shaped the delivery of patient care in innovative ways.
Home care holds a special place in Natasha’s heart, as she finds immense fulfillment in supporting clients who prefer to remain in the comfort of their homes. She is also the founder and owner of 1st Choice Home Care & Infusion Services, Inc., a home care agency that provides registered nurses and certified nursing assistants to serve patients across North Carolina.
Natasha is a native of Selma, NC, and currently resides in Clayton, NC, with her husband and two sons. In her community, she is recognized not only for her professional achievements but also for her dedication to compassionate patient care and healthcare innovation.
